Two GBCC youth golfers almost made it to Augusta in the Drive, Chip and Putt Championship. Grace Durkin and Carter Broten competed on Saturday, September 28th at Interlachen Country Club in Minneapolis, MN in the Regional Qualifier of the Drive, Chip, and Putt Championship. The winner in each age division advanced to the National Championship at Augusta National Golf Club next April. Grace finished 3rd and is an alternate for the Girls 14-15 year old division and Carter finished 12th in the Boy’s 12-13 year old division.
