Hansen Foods: Keeping Up with Demand

Michael Fechter said that Hansen Foods is taking all possible precautions to keep employees safe during this difficult time. They added two shifts to their production facility to keep up with the demand for frozen pizza in Wisconsin and throughout the country. Frozen pizza is being purchased at a higher than normal rate and Hansen Foods wants to do everything possible to keep up with the necessary distribution to their retailers and customers.

LRI: An Essential Business

Brent DuBois and Matt Umentum's company, Lamp Recyclers Inc. and Logistics Recycling Inc. (LRI) is a universal, hazardous and medical waste hauler and recycler.  They offer a single call service to their customers for disposal of these items via daily route trucks. They service all of Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

GBBC member Ben Bartolazzi reports that this has been extremely helpful for house showings his clients can enjoy from the safety of their homes. The Bartolazzi agents are keeping their distance while meeting, disinfecting door knobs, and constantly using hand sanitizer.    

"The real estate market has still been moving along, and it is a great time to buy/sell if you feel secure in your job," Ben said. "My team and I are still working throughout this pandemic meeting with sellers and buyers."

Energize Integrated Medicine: Phone and Virtual Visits

Dorsch Ford Lincoln Kia: Takes the Service to You

GBCC member Dan Dorsch said that Dorsch Ford Lincoln Kia has made numerous changes to protect the health of their guests and employees.  For service, they offer free pickup and delivery for all service customers within a 25-mile radius of the dealership.  On the sales end, they will bring the vehicle to the guests' house, test drive the vehicle, and complete all of the paperwork at their house so they don't have to come to the dealership.  They offer virtual appraisals of their trades as well.

Wisconsin Institute of Plastic Surgery

GBCC member Dr. Tina Sauerhammer, MD, FACS told us that the Wisconsin Institute of Plastic Surgery has adapted their practice. In support of the efforts to combat COVID-19, they are now offering laceration repairs in-office to help patients avoid going to urgent care centers or emergency rooms. This helps to ease the burden on healthcare providers and decreases patients’ risk of exposure.  

In ongoing support of their patients, they now offer virtual consultations and follow-ups through their website. They also offer curbside pick-up and delivery of skin care products, as it is so important to continue self-care in these times.
